Name the owners

For each AI use, name someone responsible for its operation and someone authorised to approve sensitive outputs. Teams using the system must understand these roles.

Define approval points

Determine which outputs need review before use. The level of control depends on context: preparing an internal draft and making a decision about a customer require different processes.

Enable correction

The reviewer must be able to verify information, correct an output and suspend its use. Provide a channel for reporting errors and incidents, together with a follow-up procedure.

Document and train

Keep a record of important decisions and process changes. Explain tool limitations to teams and when human intervention is needed. These records give the committee concrete evidence of your governance.
